The Israel Tennis & Education Centers Foundation mourns the passing of Shimon Peres, a great friend of the ITEC and Israel’s longest-serving statesman, who died early Wednesday at the age of 93. The ITEC’s Twinned Kindergarten Peace Program was launched by the Israel Tennis & Education Centers in 2005 in conjunction with the Peres Center for Peace, a leading coexistence organization founded in 1996 by President Peres. Since then, thousands of children have taken part in a variety of activities to not only enhance motor skills, but to learn to respect and understand one another. President Peres’ legacy and impact on the children of Israel is immeasurable.
