Since 2002 Eli has been a member of the International Board of Directors for ITEC. From 2017-2020, he served as the Chair, and has since become an active member of ITEC’s central committees. Eli also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Armored Corps Association, founding organization of the “Yad Lashiryon” Memorial in Latrun.

Eli received a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Hebrew University Law School in Jerusalem in 1978. He went on to become a lawyer in 1980, and a notary in 1995. Since 1980 he has become the owner of a successful law firm that deals with inter alia in real estate, planning and building, development projects and commercial law. He currently represents both individuals and organizations, dealing primarily with development, planning, and building in Israel and Europe, mainly in Spain. He is married with four beautiful children.

Eli is the son of an Israeli tennis coach, who built the first tennis court for Jewish youth in Jerusalem in 1936. His father belonged to the Pioneers Group, who grew the popularity of tennis in Israel over decades of hard work. His father continued to coach tennis and give lessons until he was 82 years old; he is now almost 103! In appreciation of his hard work and efforts that went into the sport of tennis in Jerusalem, his father received an honorary title from the Jerusalem City Council, “Yakir Yerushalim”, in 2001.
