Yokneam

Israel Tennis & Education Center – Yokneam

Located on the outskirts of the Jezreel Valley in Galilee, the city of Yokneam was established as a small immigrant town in 1949. Receiving its city status in 2006, Yokneam continued to develop as many immigrants from the former Soviet Union and Ethiopia made the city their home. Known today as Israel’s “Startup Village”, the 19,000 residents are an integral part of a bustling city, home to over 100 high tech companies. Located just outside of Haifa, Yokneam is growing into an affluent and attractive destination for young professionals looking to start families of their own. As one of the youngest cities in Israel with 37 percent of its inhabitants under the age of 20, ITEC Yokneam is filled with children on a daily basis.
