– An exhibition of young Israeli tennis players is bringing tennis ambassadors to the metro Atlanta area.

The Israeli Tennis Centers Foundation student tennis players are on a tour which ended in Dunwoody on Sunday, June 10.

The organization brings more than 20,000 at-risk children together through the sport of tennis at its 14 centers, where they teach life skills and values while providing children with tutoring and healthy meals.

In addition to playing tennis at the event, team members shared memories about how the foundation has changed their lives.

“We take tennis and combine it with education to help to transform the lives of many underprivileged children in Israel, but all children who come to our courts,” organizer Jackie Glodstein said. “We bring together children of all backgrounds, different religions, different nationalities, and different income levels.”

Organizers say they are grateful for the chance to better the lives of thousands.
