We are thrilled to share that ITEC’s Kiryat Shmona summer program, which teaches children tennis to help them learn life skills, received a heartfelt thank-you letter from the Mayor of Kiryat Shmona, Avichai Stern. The mayor expressed deep gratitude for our meaningful program and emphasized its positive impact on their community during these challenging times.

The Role of ITEC

During times of crisis, children are always the most vulnerable, and ITEC is the leading source of support for Israel’s children following the brutal October 7th attacks. ITEC’s centers, serving 24 communities throughout the country, are open six days a week during the critical out-of-school time, operating as community hubs. Here, children can play tennis and other recreational sports, enjoy board and table games, socialize with friends, speak with adult mentors, and, most importantly, find moments of normalcy and joy during these extremely stressful times.

Your Support Matters

The Kiryat Shmona still need your help! The ongoing conflict shows no end in sight and the children do not know when they will be able to return to their homes. Your contribution will demonstrate the power of the generous ITEC community. We hope you’ll consider being part of this transformative fundraiser because every child deserves a chance to learn, play, and grow. With your help, we can provide the support and structure these children need to thrive even in the face of adversity.

Thank you for standing with us and making a difference in the lives of these children. Together, we can bring hope and joy to those who need it most.
