On September 26th, ITEC Akko unveiled newly renovated courts thanks to Akko’s municipality. The opening ceremony of the new clay courts was attended by ITEC’s management and Akko’s municipality management.
ITEC Akko serves a unique role in the city, acting as a bridge between different communities of Jews and Arabs – creating victories on and off the tennis courts! Throughout the center’s history, we have seen first-hand how children make a community more resilient and form the leaders of tomorrow. The center lives by the simple philosophy that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to succeed in tennis and life.
The city of Akko and ITEC are excited to see how these renovated courts will bring the center to the forefront of Israeli tennis by opening new opportunities for boys and girls to dream big, believe in themselves, and go as far as they can.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the Municipality of Akko and the Major, Mr. Shimon Lankri. Their combined love for the children of Akko made this court revitalization happen!
