We are delighted to announce that Mike Ritter, ITEC International Board member and ITEC US Treasurer, has been elected to the Sarasota-Manatee (Florida) Federation as its Board President.

Mike has been a very active member of the Israel Tennis & Education Centers Foundation since he first came on to the Board in 2011. He has been instrumental in helping to maintain and grow the overall financial vitality of the ITEC, working closely with our CFO Bruce Appel and others responsible for the fiscal health and well-being of the organization.

In addition to his duties with the ITEC, Mike served as board member, treasurer and vice president at the Sarasota-Manatee Federation. He also still serves on the board and administrative committee at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, his former home where he was CPA and senior partner at Ernst and Young.

“Sarasota is a wonderful community with many dedicated and philanthropic Jews from various parts of the U.S., Canada and other countries,” Mike said. “Sarasota is a relatively small Jewish community, but is fortunate to have many great leaders serving the federation and other Jewish organizations over the years. I hope to continue many of the initiatives that they have pursued, as well as to focus on the current challenges that Jews are facing here and throughout the world.”

Please join us in congratulating Mike on this very prestigious appointment.
